At Sung Lee Taekwondo, one of the highlights of our social calendar is our Annual Family Picnic. This year we congregated at Emily Murphy Park, Site 1, on Saturday, August 19th. Attendance was good with about 200 people in attendance. The Potluck table was overflowing with scrumptious foods & desserts from many international cuisines. Activities included string golf, rubber axe throwing, face painting, and parachute games. The highlight of the day was the parents & students taking turns trying to dunk the instructors in the dunk tank. The instructors were freezing but they were all good sports, enduring the cold for the delight of their students! Students could also enter their names into a draw to win prizes from the prize table! Thanks to everyone for participating and the volunteers who helped run the activities. If you missed it this year, make sure you plan to attend next summer!
